Virtual Experience

Thanks to our Get Out Passes, we recently had an adventure we never would have taken on otherwise. We visited Virtual Experience on Center Street in Provo, Ut. With our passes, we were each able to enjoy a free 30 minute session of VR gameplay.

I’ve never done anything like this before and it was actually really cool. They have multiple “cubicles” where each person can play. It’s advised that you arrive 10 minutes or so before your session for a quick signing of forms and orientation, and then you get hooked up and your time begins. I believe you can reserve 30 min or 60 min sessions.

They have a TON of games to choose from – both multiplayer and single player, and you can switch between them as often as you like during your session. We started out all playing a game together, and then one by one dropped out to do our own thing and explore the other games.

In the end, 30 minutes went crazy fast and the kids were begging to be able to come back sometime. As for myself, I enjoyed it, and it was cool, but some of the more move-y games made me a little nauseous. Because I’m getting old. Apparently.

Overall, this was another Get Out Pass win for us! If you’re in the Provo area and looking for something unique to do, we can definitely recommend!
